Baby Shower cakes will come in some of the cutest designs that you have ever seen. Because, well, plain and simple… babies are kinda cute too! And we love to celebrate them entering this world, before they even pop their little heads out.
When having a Baby Shower, there are a number of way that the cake / cupcakes / biscuits and other goodies will be presented.
Some parents to be love to announce loud and proud from the very first look at the party and sweet treats, what sex their baby is going to be. Others love to have the sex revealed once cutting into the cake and a colour is shown, and others simply like to keep it all very secretive and not reveal the sex at all (sometimes not even to themselves).
And these cakes are gender neutral cakes. They are generally light shades of grey, yellow, green and whites, and try to avoid the use of pink and blues.
I have been pinning away on my Baby Shower Cakes Pinterest Board, and thought I would share with you a few of my favourites:
1. Owl Baby Shower Cake
Absolutely gorgeous, and keeps you guessing as to what sex the bundle of joy will be.
2. Duck in Umbrella Cake
At first glance, I didn’t see the little duckie… but now I can’t take my eyes of him / her.
3. Baby Animals
Giraffe’s, Monkey’s and Elephants are so popular at the moment for Baby showers. Whether all together, or separately requested.

This gorgeous cake is not giving anything away!

5. Baby Onsie’s Cake
I love this style of cake. Just like looking at your clothesline with tiny little clothes, it has the same ‘aawwww’ effect on a cake.

6. Sleeping Baby Cake
Even though this cake has pink and blue in the detail, it definitely doesn’t give away the gender.

7. Elephants, Giraffe’s & Hearts
Again we see the elephants and Giraffe’s. All of those tiny, tiny hearts!

8. Semi Naked Cake
Seriously… white? What are you giving away here? Nothing, except for something simple and absolutely stunning to look at, and something scrumptious to eat!

9. Ruffle Cake
At first glance, I thought this was fondant, but has been beautifully created with buttercream!

10. Sprinkle Baby
100’s and 1000’s are a beautiful addition to any cake, and it’s no exception for this Baby Shower cake.
